MOBILIZE, ACCELERATE AND SUPPORT 

The International Innovation Agency ( the Agency ) is a non-for-profit association ( Verein ) formed in July 2020 drawing its mandate from GA/R/73/17 “ Impact of rapid technological change on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets.”. Its mission is to support its Member-States achieve SDG targets for the benefit of youth, using science, technology and innovation as a conduct.

190 United Nations members unanimously adopted the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The historical adoption of the SDG Agenda by the UN General Assembly approved seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals, a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. 

The United Nation adoption of the General Assembly Resolution 73/17 (GA/R/73/17)  declared “ Science, technology and innovation for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets as a cross-cutting theme” . 

GA/R/73/17 encouraged “ U.N Member-States to continue to consider the impact of key rapid technological changes on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets in order to benefit from opportunities and address challenges, promote the development of national strategies and public policies, science, technology and innovation road maps, capacity-building and scientific engagement, and share best practices.”  

Mr Malick Maachi and Mr Perry Geerlings formed in Zug, Switzerland the International Innovation  Agency ( the Agency ) as a “not-for-profit” multi-stakeholder initiative in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) drawing its mandate from GA/R/73/17 “ Impact of rapid technological change on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets.

The World Sport Alliance IGO (WSA-IGO) appointed the Agency for an exclusive mandate to restructure the WSA-IGO. This appointment provides the Agency with full power and authority to promote, represent, secure financing and otherwise restructure the WSA-IGO until the WSA General Assembly.

In addition to being responsible for the “financial engineering ” & funding of WSA and the management of WSA asset, the Agency is now the exclusive global integrator of WSA and is responsible for the integration of public-private-partnerships on all WSA Member-States.
